How do I sign up my child?

When are practices and games?
For T-Ball practices and games last no more than an hour.  Practice is once a week or as the designated coach deems and games depend on schedule and also last no longer than one hour.
For Farm level and up, practice days vary depending on the coach's availability.  Practice times will vary depending on designated coach, while games are 1.5 to 2 hours and games depend on schedule.

What towns do we play?
For T-Ball and Rookie, you will travel to Dover and Rockaway.
For Farm level and up, travel includes Dover and Rockaway and also expands to teams also in District 1.

What is included in the registration cost?
Your child will receive a full uniform (shirt, pants and hat), end-of-the-season award and picnic.  
Funds also go towards league equipment, insurance and umpire costs.

What must I provide for my child?
Every player must have their own mitt and cleats.  Cleats are not required for T-Ball.

What can you expect for Opening Day?
Weather pending, there is a parade that begins at the American Legion on Main Street that ends at Robert Street Park where a short ceremony is held.  Snack shed will be open for food and drink purchase and most teams will have their first game thereafter.

How can you volunteer?
We always welcome parent volunteers for all team levels.  In order to help on the field, each adult must be Rutgers certified and take a CPR course that WALL will pay for.  You can inquire for more info on dates.
Please keep in mind how valuable the time you spend on the field with your child is.  The kids love having a parent participate.  If you feel you don't know much about the sport, we can help you out with that.  

What if my child decides not to play after the season begins?
Our league policy states that as soon as uniforms have been ordered, there are no refunds for the season.

Does Wharton Area Little League provide scholarships for those who may not be able to afford the registration fee?
